SUNY Brockport Special Events & Recreation Center Phase I (LEED Gold Level) - 2007

A three-story building with an 80,000-square foot field house to include an indoor track, fitness center and weight room, indoor throwing cage for shot put and discus with seating capacity for 5,500. 30 million budget

SUNY Brockport Special Events & Recreation Center Phase II, Brockport, NY - 2013

Project included a new two-story structure with full basement.  Complex coordination required due to facility location over original utility hub for athletic facilities.  Foundation designs required to maintain continued operation of below grade access.5 million budget

SUNY Brockport Reconstruct Plaza/ADA Access Pedestrian Bridge, Brockport NY 2012

The project consists of providing structural design services through construction phases for an accessibility structure at the pedestrian bridge adjacent to the Albert W. Brown Building on the SUNY Brockport campus. Existing infrastructure will be demolished to construct a stair tower and elevator shaft at the entrance of the bridge to improve accessibility. The structures will be unconditioned space and require an elevator machine room, retaining wall at the south end, a cantilever balcony, and some type of trellis structure space into one suite location 6 million budget.

SUNY Brockport Brown Building Structural Repairs and Emergency Jacking

The project consists of providing structural design services through construction phases for emergency repairs at the Brown Building.  Exterior columns exposed to deicing salts deteriorated and partially collapsed causing the building to settle approximately four inches. Design consisted of detailing structural repairs for the columns and developing jacking procedures to bring the building back into the original position.

SUNY Geneseo Red Jacket Dining Hall Renovations

The project consists of providing structural design services through construction phases for the alteration and reconstruction of the existing dining hall including installing a new elevator and roof mounted equipment.

SUNY Plattsburgh Dining Hall Renovations

The project consists of providing structural design services through construction phases for the alteration and reconstruction of the existing dining hall.  The existing concrete frame with waffle slab construction was modified to provide new openings, infill existing openings and the removal of a concrete bearing wall to open space within the building.  The bearing wall was replaced with a steel beam that was jacked into place to provide proper load transfer and sequencing. 

SUNY-Finger Lakes Community College- Marvin Sands-Constellation Brands Performing Arts Center

This is an extensive expansion of the former performing arts center adding covered seating, enlarged back stage and support facilities.  Completed in 2006.  Construction costs approximately 15 million dollars. 

University of Rochester Adolph Auditorium Reconstruction

The project consists of providing structural design services through construction phases for The demolition and reconstruction of Adolph Auditorium.  The existing concrete waffle floor system was partially demolished to reconfigure the Auditorium.   New tiered seating was installed to meet modern requirements and provide for accessibility. 

University of Rochester Harkness Hall Renovations

The project consists of providing structural design services through construction phases for renovations at Harkness Hall including installation of a new elevator. 

University of Rochester Susan B. Anthony Library Structural Survey

The project consists of performing a structural survey of the existing library to determine the feasibility of filling in a courtyard and adding mezzanine space.  The Existing concrete framed structure was inspected and the existing drawings reviewed to analyze the impact of adding additional space and mezzanine levels. 

University of Rochester College Town, Rochester, NY 

College Town Rochester is a mixed-use development located on the University of Rochester Campus. Designed two mixed use buildings. Offering 217 beds, this was also a CM-at-risk project. Each building has commercial retail space on the first floor and market rate apartments on the upper floors. A total of 69,000 square feet of flexible space has been provided. The space includes a mix of studio, one and two-bedroom apartments totaling 154 apartment units in 168,500 square feet. The larger of the two buildings also houses below grade parking for residential tenants, and a commercial tenant for Barnes & Noble bookstore which also functions as the University of Rochester’s campus bookstore. Also designed a new six-story, 518,000 sq. ft. precast parking garage contains 1,586 parking spaces. 

University of Rochester Fraternity Quad: (Renovations and new exterior ramps)

Completion: 2013, Project includes renovations and added ADA exterior ramps to six existing fraternity houses on U of R's main campus quad. Each house is a registered historical structure and constructed in different materials over a 30yr period providing their own individual complications. All but one house contained a vault room located under the main entrance decorative steps. Each house required well thought out shoring designs to support stone structures above and allow for full or partial demolition of the vaults below and reconstruction.

Building Renovation 

Complete renovation of a multi-use, four story building located on the University of Rochester River Campus. The building, originally constructed in the 1950's, includes food preparation and service areas, an event space, offices and study space. The project included creation of two new elevator shafts, removal and infill of one existing elevator, extending a monumental stair, creation of a new event space including joist reinforcement for operable partitions and mechanical units, and construction of a 55-foot-long enclosed pedestrian bridge to the library.

A four story (expandable to 8 stories) treatment and laboratory building.

Construction costs approximately 45 million dollars.

R.I.T. -Golisano College of Computer Science

A three-story structure completed in 2003. Construction cost approximately 17 million.
